Nestle Purina decided to have a separate box for the WM system from there ERP system. The objective of this project is to replace Nestle Purina Pet Care Company (NPPC) legacy Warehouse management system with a GLOBE Distributed Warehouse Management (DWM) solution.

GLOBE is NPPC’s global SAP template that is governed by the GLOBE Center (GC) and developed by the Business Technology Center (BTC).The GLOBE DWM solution is under development by BTC. When released it will be evaluated for the fit with local business requirements of NPPC and tested by NPPC before it is piloted (planned mid-year 2012 for two NPPC facilities). Development and configuration will be completed by the BTC. IBM will lead the evaluation, testing, implementation, training, and hyper-care support for 23 warehouses in North America.

Roles and responsibilities include

• Analyze Business Requirements during Business Blueprint Phase

• Map the Current Business Requirements to the Globe tool

• GAP analysis , Business Process Change and Impact Analysis
