Position began as a volunteer position and migrated into a part time salaried position of supervising a Night
Court Program for children age 11 through 18 at a location at which they can play basketball, foosball, pool
and various other games and activities. Supervised 50 children each night for a program to help keep children
off the streets and out of trouble. Volunteered in after school program at a local school, participating in
diverse activities with the children.
Sargent of Arms/State Officer - DECA, Providence, Rhode Island (9/1994-12/1996)
Organized and managed multiple DECA functions and events for the Boys and Girls club. Began a fundraising
project for the elderly, which provided meals, holiday gifts, and companionship during holidays. Assisted in
functions distributing food and clothing to the homeless.
