Program Coordinator / Department Supervisor
Pulmonary physician group comprised of six board certified pulmonologists and one board certified sleep medicine specialist. Responsible for day to day operation of testing labs including quality control, accurate data reporting, and employee staffing. Maintain operation of physician sleep medicine practice. Assure that all physician billing is done accurately and in a timely manner.
• Increased sleep center volumes from 4 to 96 studies per month through marketing and public awareness. This generated approximately $2.1 million in additional revenue annually.
• Established Pulmonary Function Labs in two office facilities to grow volumes. Developed and initiated a billing system, department policies and procedures. These efforts to create and manage the pulmonary labs grew practice revenue by an additional $447,500.00 annually.
• Developed patient education programs for physician practice including asthma and COPD education for patients and patient family.
• Developed a pulmonary rehabilitation program, a much needed community service.
• Acted as clinical coordinator for Indiana Vocation Technical College. Responsible for teaching and mentoring students during their clinical rotation on site.
• Created and maintained Sleep Practice platform for patient consultation, testing, treatment, and follow up care in accordance with AASM guidelines.
• Managed a six bed sleep center. Led center through AASM accreditation process.
• Established testing and treatment protocols in accordance with physician specifications.

A 220 bed privately owned hospital and multispecialty physician clinic. Responsible for day to day operations of the respiratory care department and ancillary outpatient testing departments.
• Responsible for respiratory therapy personnel and their performance in hospital units including intensive care, pediatrics and neonates, and general floor care.
• Supervised ancillary testing departments such as EEG, ECG and Holter Monitor, and PFT.
• Responsible for staffing, payroll, and employee evaluations.
• Initiated monthly departmental in-services to increase quality of care and patient safety.
• Developed and maintained a two bed sleep lab in accordance with AASM guidelines.
• Responsible for marketing, and growth of sleep practice which included promoting physician interaction within the community.
