Instrumental in the installation of a new steel flow control gate (RSEM-1) at both casters resulting in a $2 MM annual savings to the company.

Designed, tested and installed a Breakout Detection System at both casters, which saved the company over $1MM in the first year by reducing production downtime and damage to equipment.

Installed a new data server, which allowed any PC user to access process data enabling users to identify causes of process upsets, and also analyze data to formulate modifications to eliminate reoccurrence.
