Oil well cementing Engineer and technical representative

Responsibilities:

I coordinated the design, the technical, and field support for critical zonal isolation jobs performed by the Company. I was technical representative at Petrozuata, and PDVSA for cementing and remedial cementing jobs for the setting of 20”, 9 5/8” casings and several production liners in the North of Monagas Oil Field in Eastern Venezuela dealing with HT/HP (high temperature/high pressure) downhole conditions. I also coordinated the remedial work to several depleted wells; and in Maracaibo Lake in Western Venezuela. I monitored and evaluated the cementing jobs on all these casings and production liners. I planned and monitored all annual operational budgets in my area. I established and developed positive customer relationships. I got involved in the development of an experimental lightweight, anti-gas slurry to be used in one of Inemaka’s cementing jobs due to a weak formation problem. I designed marketing strategies, programs, and projections.

I monitored the execution of all cementing and stimulation jobs performed by the Companies. I evaluated results along with my lab personnel. I gave technical and field support. I was technical representative at Cliffs Drilling Co., for their turnkey operations and for the construction of all 20”casings (surface), and several 9 5/8”casigns in the North of Monagas Oil Field in Eastern Venezuela. I was also responsible for the quality, control, and safety of all the projects. I had PDVSA, Anaco and Maturin, as my main clients.

Responsibilities:

I controlled and managed different types of drilling fluids in North of Monagas, Venezuela. I represented the Company in the take off of the Venezuelan Extra Heavy Oil Project (VEHOP) along the Orinoco Belt in the southern strip of the eastern Orinoco River Basin in Southeast Venezuela, and for the drilling and construction of shallow wells (200’-300’deep).
