Projects: National Institute of Health, Capital Projects. Construction of 73 thousand square foot project including a 30 million dollar bio-lab including a BSL3 vivarium, a BSL2 vivarium, a BSL2 insectary, a BSL3 insectary, a BSL3 lab, and multiple BSL2 labs. Construction of 150 thousand square foot project including a 60 million dollar bio-lab including a six-story laboratory with multiple BSL2 vivariums and BSL2 labs.
Responsibilities: Correspond with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for all aspects of the project. Responsible for government estimates and coordination of IC’s for programming intent issues. Oversee construction activities (CQM). Prepare field reports for Project Officer. Coordinate design requirements with other NIH organizations including: Safety, Security, Pest Management, CIT, the NIH Fire Department, and other suppliers such as Systems Furniture and vending companies.
