Projects: The Marco Police Station, Golden Gate Middle School addition, and renovation, University Park Shell, The Village Shops at Health Park and the United Way of Lee County office building.

Responsibilities: Pre construction services, estimating of assigned projects, Buy out and budget set up at project award, prepare contracts for sub-contractors. Review and process shop drawings and submittals. Process and review owner and sub-contractor change orders. Process application for payments for architect and owner review and payment, project close out, coordinate, and provide advice communication between architectural engineer and owner.

Projects: New construction of the Moody River Amenities. Including a 7000 square foot clubhouse with a Junior Olympic pool, a manned guard house, two unmanned guard houses, a pool house with satellite pool, fishing pier, and five community signs.

Responsibilities: Coordinate projects from start to completion. Schedule and supervise subcontractors and owner vendors. Review shop drawings and submittals. Coordinate and advise communication between architectural engineer and owner. Schedule third party inspections and city inspections.

Project Manager/Program Analyst

ISI PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, Washington, DC 2000 - 2004

Projects: National Institute of Health, Capital Projects. Construction of 73 thousand square foot project including a 30 million dollar bio-lab including a BSL3 vivarium, a BSL2 vivarium, a BSL2 insectary, a BSL3 insectary, a BSL3 lab, and multiple BSL2 labs. Construction of 150 thousand square foot project including a 60 million dollar bio-lab including a six-story laboratory with multiple BSL2 vivariums and BSL2 labs.

Responsibilities: Correspond with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for all aspects of the project. Responsible for government estimates and coordination of IC’s for programming intent issues. Oversee construction activities (CQM). Prepare field reports for Project Officer. Coordinate design requirements with other NIH organizations including: Safety, Security, Pest Management, CIT, the NIH Fire Department, and other suppliers such as Systems Furniture and vending companies.

Superintendent

JOHNSON BUILDING CORPORATION, Sterling, VA 1999 - 2000

Projects: New construction of Friendly’s Restaurant in Arlington, VA and an 18,000 square foot shopping center identified as, Shops-On-The-Avenue in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities: Coordinate projects from start to completion. Schedule and supervise subcontractors and owner vendors. Review shop drawings and submittals. Coordinate and advice communication between architectural engineer and owner. Schedule third party inspections and city inspections. Maintain daily correspondence between the field and the office as well as with the subcontractors.

MCCARTY CONSTRUCTION INC., Norcross, GA 1997 – 1999

Projects: Disney ESPN Zone and Club Disney and the Elephant & Castle Restaurant & Pub. Projects were on an accelerated schedule. All projects were 15,000 sq. ft.

Responsibilities: Coordinate projects from start to completion. Schedule and supervise subcontractor and owner venders to ensure that projects proceed in a timely manner.
