Acker Poultry Supply, Inc. - Bryan, TX – (May ’04 - June ’07)

Division Manager- Accountable for all aspects of Bryan Division store; including accounts receivable, purchasing, inventory control, personnel management and equipment maintenance. Extensive project management skills utilized to ensure that projects were completed promptly, efficiently and held to quality standards. Preparation of estimates for potential customers and successful project management once awarded are main daily activities. Responsible for the implementation of most current technology in regards to facility management, in order to achieve the highest level of environmental control and flock performance efficiency.

Service Technician- Responsible for maintenance of poultry grow-out facilities within the Brazos Division of Sanderson Farms, Inc. Supervised rework construction and equipment installation contract groups. Created work log system for scheduling efficiency and service work revenue accountability.

Sanderson Farms, Inc. - Bryan, TX – (January ’03 - May ’04)

Mill Supervisor- Responsible for the operation of 3,000 ton finished feed capacity feed mill. Provided supervision for up to twelve employees, administered product sampling procedures, assisted in the distribution of product to poultry grow-out facilities, motivated and developed employees through training and maintained compliance with state and federal regulations. Produced approved feed formulas to achieve top 10% in Agri-Stats in feeding efficiency (feed utilization detailed versus adjusted feed cost per pound of meat).

Management Trainee- Participated in structured program prior to promotion which integrated aspects of live production, including Broiler Department, Live Haul Operations, Breeder Department and Feed Mill Operations.
