Communications Lead - Global SAP Deployment (Change and Organizational Readiness Team)
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all communications activities to create understanding, education, and engagement surrounding the new global SAP enterprise resource planning system, as well as prepare all company sites and end users for the transition.
* Developed the program’s first global communications strategy and plan targeting all organizational levels. Communication metrics increased by 21% in the first six months of using the plan.
* Draft executive leader communications and create presentations for multiple organizational groups (hourly employees to C-level teams) including program updates, and messages that focus on end user engagement and address issue management. Provide senior program leadership counsel on stakeholder relations during critical communication opportunities.
* Maintain a MS Sharepoint® collaboration web site for over 1,000 extended team members to share information, facilitate discussion groups, and serve as a central point for performing and measuring program activities. Created web site governance team and processes. During initial program phases, the web site’s usage metrics were double that of any other O-I collaboration site.
* Collaborated with Latin American Program Lead to create an effective regional communications plan to increase program awareness and education prior to the SAP launch. Work with personnel in each country to deliver communications in a timely manner.
* Worked with process functional leaders to develop a successful web training series. The result was more knowledgeable off-site team members who were better prepared to support SAP at their location. Also produced SAP education videos in-house that saved ~$50K in vendor costs.
* Consult with SAP process teams (PMO, Deployment, Change Readiness, Data, Testing, Global Process Leads, etc.) on their communication issues and messaging.
* Worked with the IT Legacy Systems Retirement Team and the Process and Data Governance Team to develop messaging and communications plans to deliver their specific project communications to affected groups.
