PROJECTS:
Global supply chain management:
• Worked on simulation to manage capacity, scheduling, purchasing and contract quotations to maximize the cash generated of a factory. Analysis of each scenario was performed to obtain the optimized solution and improve efficiency.
• Worked on a project with Alcon Laboratories to determine total distribution cost model and key cost drivers.
Product Management: Simulation conducted to develop a product which consists of defining marketing responsibilities, designing a brand for each market segment, price the brands, and design an advertising campaign.
Engineering Management: Developed a business plan in a team environment and solved realistic program management problem for a consumer product. The program management tools and techniques were used for problem solving of the various phases of the product life cycle. This helped in individual program management, team leadership and presentation skills.
Project Management: Developed a thorough project plan to implement a real estate development and management business. This consisted of necessary tasks, resources, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and risk analysis. Project 2000 was extensively used.
Quality Systems: Conducted product quality analysis of a product using different techniques including the transform enterprise, plan-do-study-act methods and SPC tools.
Product Design, Development, Producibility and Reliability: Development of a unique product plan which consisted of various aspects involving patent analysis, risk analysis, quality analysis, benchmarking analysis and loss analysis. Statistical analysis was performed during the various activities undertaken as part of the project.
Design and Fabrication of sealing machine: Successfully designed and assembled a motor mechanism with an impulse heating system and a microcontroller incorporated in the circuit system of the machine. Designed equipment interface, configured automated scales, and recommended programmed timer alterations that decreased cycle time by up to 15%.
