Supply Chain Management Designed and implemented supply chain management systems, using offshore manufacturers in Singapore, China, Hong Kong and various onshore facilities. Established procedures for purchasing, vendor management, and quality control.
Operations Planning & Implementation/R&D – Designed and implemented all operations functions required to transition an R&D company into full production manufacturing of electro-magnetic solutions for the assembly automation, material handling, and transportation industries. Significant challenge was establishing the supply chain since the company’s broad product portfolio required identifying, negotiating, and establishing strong relationships with wide range of suppliers. Operations Planning & Implementation/Startup - Led all efforts to define, visualize, measure, control, report and improve manufacturing processes with the goal of meeting customer requirements profitably for a startup manufacturing company. Established communications policies and procedures to track and resolve issues. Implimented import/export regulations
Merger & Acquisition Logistics - Led efforts to successfully transition products to acquiring companies for two organizations. Coordinated the transition of Mapletree’s product manufacturing and vendor relationships to PTI. Assisted in managing of the necessary activities related to the successful rebranding of Microcom products when it was acquired by Compaq.
Major Product Redesign -Directed the redesign of an electro mechanical cabinet assembly when it was determined that the original design was prone to quality and manufacturing issues. Worked closely with internal engineers and subcontract manufacturer to change the product’s interconnect scheme resulting in higher quality and lower cost to manufacture.
Private Label Design – Successfully led private labeling product design projects. Most complex project was for an Australian company to produce a telecommunications product utilizing a uniquely designed molded plastic casing. Coordinate efforts with the customer, internal engineers, and offshore manufacturer to deliver the product on time and in a cost effective manner.

Responsibilities included shipping, receiving, procurement, vendor management, documentation (ECOs), manufacturing engineering and quality control. $1 million annual budget (without inventory).

Salem, NH – Bizfon designs, manufactures and sells phone systems for the small office/home office (SOHO) market.

Performance Technologies Inc./Mapletree Networks 1/2005 – 4/2005
Norwood, MA – Performance Technologies is a global supplier of advanced network communications solutions to carrier, government, and OEM markets. It acquired Mapletree Networks in January 2005.
