• Innovation: Logic for Anode Effect Prediction had been developed by self for better control on alumina concentration in bath and for avoiding unwanted energy consuming anode effects. This logic built into the pot controller software predicts an AE by continuously monitoring the deviation of resistance and adds pre-set quantity of alumina based on set logics.

• Development of the Mathematical model of the cathode of Aluminum smelting pot through ANSYS software for simulating design changes to increase the productivity of the aluminum reduction cell.

• Proto type cathode design has been developed using this model for amperage intensification. The new cathode design developed using the mathematical simulation model had been installed and tested successfully.

• Experience in cast house quality management functions like mould geometry measurement, hydrogen level measurement in liquid metal, impurity count using PoDFA samples. Responsible for answering and control of customer complaints with respect to rolling ingots and con-cast coils

• Management Information system: Releasing the plant information reports- Daily, Weekly and Monthly

• Management Information System: Preparation of management information reports for Quarterly, Half yearly and annual reviews and preparation of yearly budget and 5 year rolling plans.

• Carried out Aluminium liquid metal and hot metal costs benchmarking exercise for the company.
