This job was a Joint venture with Kiewit Construction Company.

Transportation Engineer - City of Lowell, Massachusetts 2000 – 2005
Assigned to prepare and submit City Traffic Ordinances, traffic improvements, recommendations, warrant analysis and implementation based on Massachusetts Highway Department, MUTCD and ITE publications. Prepare RFPs and contracts. Responsible for engineering studies and analyses related to public transportation, including future travel pattern and demand analysis. Project Manager of two/180 mile road in Antioquia State.
Road maintenance located in a high mountain terrain area. Work includes drainage, removal of landslides, inventory of defects of the pavement, studies of level of service of the road, cost analysis, site testing and accident studies. I managed 45 persons doing maintenance of box culverts, drainage ditches and pavement. Installation of vertical and horizontal signage. Analyzed and updated condition of the bridges and main concrete structures. Supervised construction of box culverts, bridges and steel construction, drainage and highway grading. Performed reconstruction of 15 mile road, replacing the gravel base, with new drainage structures and pavement. Completed a detailed structurally inventory of 15 bridges to report technical condition, integrity, status of its foundation, socavation or any other issues. This contract was for two years and a cost of $ 44,000 dollars.

Contract Engineer - Casanare Department, Colombia 1997 – 1998
Roadway Construction of 0.40 mile roadway. Work included asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalks, drainage, bridges and streetscape, new street lighting and signalization. The project was for four months and a cost of 38,000 dollars.

United States Air Force Radar Construction: Quality Assurance Engineer for twelve radar sites; $300 million construction effort.
Field Engineer supervising construction, excavation, concrete structures, fences, drainage, operations buildings, placement of diesel tanks, generators, transformers as well as implementation of the radar towers and satellite antenna foundations. Performed laboratory testing, site surveys, and cost reviews. Directed construction of access road on top weather and topographic conditions.
