Language skills: Completely fluent in Japanese (reading, writing and speaking).

Three semesters of recent college coursework in Russian, all with a grade of 'A'.

One semester of recent college coursework in Spanish with a grade of 'A'.

One non-recent level of German with a grade of 'B+'.

Some exposure to Serbian, Croatian, Turkish and Farsi and could rapidly improve my ability under the correct circumstances.

Basic, functional ability in a wide variety of other languages.

Proven ability to quickly and accurately identify unknown languages.

I can generally identify any language that I hear and, quite frequently, can respond appropriately in that language. Even if I do not speak that language as well as some of the languages listed above I nonetheless possess basic, functional competence in a wide variety of other languages.
