Machine Analyst. (Onsite from Servo Tech Inc, Chicago, IL)
* Developed high-fidelity simulation models of CAT MWL 972H. Modeled the vehicle linkages,
powertrain, hydraulics , Implement system and integrated it with its control system for
Tier III and Tier IV machine.
* Responsible for simulation and performance analysis on Tier III and Tier IV machine and
also validate the various control strategy for improved integrated performance of engine,
powertrain and hydraulic systems.
* Developed a 3D powertrain efficiency maps to improve the fidelity of machines transmission
system models.
* Involved in Development and Validation of various shift points for Auto-shift control
of transmission.
* Developed and integrated a Torque Limiting model and its control for Load Sensing
Implement Pump to improve the machine performance.
* Responsible for the performing altitude test on the engine model and determined its
effect on machines performance at various altitude and was a part of a team involved in improving engine modeling.
* Developed a baseline model for predictive analysis before actual testing of
Vehicle/Features in test cell.

* Developed a model and carried out simulations for a Torque Vectoring
system (Variable Torque Biasing) in a four wheel drive system to improve the
dynamic stability and handling performance of the vehicle using Matlab/Simulink
and CarSim tools.
c) Coordinated Control of EGR and Intake Throttling of a Diesel Engine:(Nov07–Dec07 )
* Developed a simulation model for coordinating the control of EGR and the intake
throttle using Matlab/Simulink, analyzed and optimized the system response for
improved transient performance.
d) Series Hybrid Emulator Setup: (Sep 07-Dec 07)
* Developed an experimental lab setup to emulate a series hybrid vehicle with
help of a d-Space system and tested the setup for various load cycles.
e) VGT and EGR integration: (Sep 07- Dec 07)
* Discussed the working concept of Variable Geometry Turbine (VGT) and
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and the various control approaches used to
improve the performance of a Diesel engine.
f) Military Robot: (Sep 04- July 05)
* Designed and fabricated a Robot which was controlled by an operator and carried
an onboard camera and metal detector for sensing the land-mines, developed
using CATIA V5 and Ansys.
g) Hydraulic stand: (Sep 03- June 04)
* Designed and fabricated a hydraulic cylinder system, which could apply a
stand for heavy motorcycles using very small force from the operator developed
using AutoCAD and Ansys.
