Title: “Homology modeling, simulation, Computational studies and Docking of Aquaproin 2” at National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences, Bangalore.

DESCRIPTION

Aquaporin2 is one of a family of water transporting proteins that facilitates osmotically driven water movement across plasma cell membranes in principle cells of kidneys. This study is an attempt to explore the proteomics of Aquaporin 2, the structure of Aquaporin 2, and the simulation using Gromacs. The phylogeny of the aquaporin 2 is analyzed using Phylip and is docked with tetra ethyl ammonium (TEA) which controls the water reabsorption of the protein.
