Accomplishments

 Analyzed in-house production processes and streamlined procedures that improved profit by nine percent saving $60,000 annually.

 Challenged with vendors not delivering on time in a biotech manufacturing process involving live organisms that required JIT delivery in order to be viable, I developed and implemented a new vendor managed inventory system that eliminated the usual six to eight week lead-time and improved our on-time delivery performance from 92% to 98%.

 Created an enhanced vendor partnership program in 2006, which encouraged longer-term commitments in purchasing in exchange for the vendors storing six months worth of inventory, providing delivery as needed and deeper price reductions. This idea resulted in a cost savings of $110,000 per month in 2006, and grew to $160,000 per month in 2009.

 Supervised the successful FDA Site Change Validation process in East Providence, RI for NERL Diagnostics after the 2004 buyout of J & S Medical Associates; earned FDA approval.

 Instituted vendor rebate programs that reduced our annual raw materials cost by $40,000.

 Managed the entire FDA Site Change Validation in Framingham, MA, for J & S Medical Associates (in 2000), after the purchase of Hemagen Diagnostics and earned FDA approval.

 Saved $35,000 annually, improved our profitability and our on-time delivery by replacing one packaging supplier with another able to commit to my vendor partnership program.

 Conducted time studies and compiled data to implement MRP to Syspro ERP system resulting in a 24.68% improvement in efficiency companywide.
