Regional Sales Manager UNFI (United Natural Foods, Inc.) Providence, RI 2009-2010

Managed a team of 15 Territory Managers in a 17-state area for national distributor of approximately 4000 natural and organic brands. Led team to award-winning sales volume levels of $200MM. Achieved highest growth targets for newly acquired Blue Marble Brands of 6 teams across the country. Worked with Vendors, Buyers, Brokers, Procurement Managers and Retail community to promote brands along all points of distribution chain. Coordinated regional product shows for Midwest, increasing sales over PY on each occasion. Customers in Midwest included 1500 independent retailers as well as supermarket accounts including: Giant Eagle, Hy-Vee, Lomar, Dierbergs, Lunds/Byerly, and Albertson’s.

Customer Sales Manager Kellogg’s Battle Creek, MI 2008-2009

Promoted to newly created position with Kellogg’s Snack Division. Created sales strategies to present to Hy-Vee Executives and also to Store Directors and Territory Managers at retail. Developed Kashi distribution focus program for specific customers. $25MM in total sales responsibility. Intregrate use of Spectra and IRI.

Responsible for 11 Territory Manager, 3 Territory Service Managers and 20+ PT Merchandisers. Product portfolio includes Kellogg Snacks division of $10MM per year. Received “Rookie DM of the Year Award” for highest sales targets achievement among peers in Western US Region.
