Working as a Process Engineer in Project Department of Prasol Chemical Ltd.
An7TPD Capacity large scale Isophorone Plant and Phenol Acetone Plant.
Preparation and review of PFD’s, P&ID’s. Hydraulic calculation, line sizing.
Heat and Mass Balance Calculation.
Heat Load Analysis for Thermosyphon Reboiler.
Designing Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger using HTRI Exchanger.
Designing Distillation Column, Decanter, Multi Effect Evaporator.

Check Line List against P&ID’s.
Check P&ID’s for Consistency.
Line Sizing of liquid, gas and two phase lines and Pressure drop calculation, Calculation of linear and equivalent length from plot plan, Preparation of line list and P&ID review.
Calculation of Pump Hydraulics for pump datasheets as per API 610 Guidelines.
Calculation for Stream Properties and Flash Calculation using Detailed Material Balance for Process Units using Aspen Hysys.
Performing Heat and Mass Balance calculations, Heat loss & gain calculation for long distance pipe using Aspen Hysys.
Finalize Vessel-mounted PSV nozzle’s sized based on PSV sizing and allowable Pressure drop at PSV inlet /outlet as per API guidelines.
Design of Tank Roof (feasibility of weak shell to roof joint), PVRV, emergency vents, pressure controllers for inbreathing /outbreathing etc. To meet the requirements of API-RP-2000 for tanks.
Checking /resizing of pumps suction /discharge manifold lines based on final pump flow and minimum flow by-pass data, suction and discharge lines.
Revalidate all pumps NPSH data indicated as per highlighted equipment elevation changes where necessary.
Update line sizes and control valve data in pump minimum flow by pass circuits on initial and subsequently final pump minimum continuous rating data.
Checking of equipment data sheet (Both rotary and static), with respect to Equipment list and P&IDs
Calculation of PSV Relief Load for External Fire Case, Blocked Outlet, Liquid Overfill, Power Failure, Cooling Water failure, & Control valve Failure etc. as per API RP 520 and API RP 521 Guidelines.
Sizing of Flare Header, PSV inlet /outlet (PSV Discharge to main flare header) line sizes using Flare net.
Preparation and Submission of Utility, Effluent catalyst, Chemical and Flare Load Summaries for the units based on information generated during Design.
