Description :

Worked as Project Manager for the project “Abudhabi Future Schools Program – Package V - Construction of School at UmGhafa C, plot no27, Alain”. The Project Clients are ADEC & Musanada and the Consultants are Morganti and Dewan. The School building had buildup area of 18,594 m2 in a plot size of 40,000m2 and also had a hard landscaping of 11,980m2, soft landscaping of 8954m2, parking area of 3957m2 and Road area of 4024m2.

The Work responsibility includes but not limited to:

• Managing Project Stakeholders, project team, Project risk, schedule and conflicts

• Accomplishing the project objectives and the creating clear and attainable sub project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the triple constraint for project.

• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Oversee the performance of construction works, supplier, subcontractors and productivity improvements.

b) Construction of Villa (G+1) for Mr.Arshad Mulla on Plot no. RN/069, Dubai Land, Dubai having a buildup area of 6100 ft2

c) Construction of Factory and offices for M/s Gulf Steel strands on Plot no B054R01A, JAFZA, Dubai having a buildup area of 72,770 ft2

d) Construction of Warehouse, Offices for M/s Steel house on Plot no S40405A, JAFZA, Dubai having a buildup area of 31,540 ft2

The work responsibility includes:

• In-charge for the Management of the whole project.

• Responsible for the direct coordination with the project owner and the consultants.

c) Labour camp at Sonapur on Plot no. 264-977, Dubai having buildup area of 20382 ft2

4. June 2005 to Dec 2006 Al Naboodah & Group 5 Constructions JV Senior Section Eng.

Project executed are:

a. Construction of Cargo Mega Terminus and Multistoried Car Park at DUBAI International Airport.

b. Central Utility Complex, CUC 6 (for central A/C cooling systems)

Description:

Worked as Senior Engineer, for the construction works of Cargo Mega Terminal and Multistoried Car Park with agent’s offices at DUBAI International Airport. The cost of the project was about Dhs.550 million. The main building has a foot print of 270mX140m, is built on five different levels and provides space for a pallet and container handling system, automated storage and retrieval system, cargo handling areas, special cargo rooms and areas.

The work responsibilities includes to develop and maintain a detailed resourced program, sequence, method of execution for the works in consultation with Project manager. Ensure the detailing on shutters, rebars and material lists are available in time and in proper order. Implement Quality assurance plans, cost control procedures and compiling site records. Scrutinize the drawings and specifications in order to identify in advance any potential problem areas and take necessary actions to avoid the delays and be a contact person with Site Supervision consultants engineer (Dar al Handasah) in day to day works.

5. Feb 2004 to May 2005 Backbone Projects Limited Project Manager

Project Name: Extension and Resurfacing of Runway, Apron, Taxi Track and construction of Parallel Taxi track at Hyderabad International Airport.

Description:

Worked as Project Manager, for the construction works of International Airport at Begumpet, Hyderabad. The work comprises of Extension and resurfacing of Runway, strengthening of Apron, Construction of Parallel taxiway (Concrete Pavement), Extension of Runway by 335m and overrun way by 60m, Strengthening of Runway and Taxiway with SDAC & DAC layers (Bituminous). The responsibilities include the overall progress of work, correspondence and liaisoning with govt. executives, to undertake necessary decisions with executives and also the bearer of the “Power of Attorney” for the necessary work execution.

6. Dec 2001 to Jan 2004 Mahendra Kumar & Company. Project Engineer

Project Name : Four laning of km.85/0 to 103/0 of Agra – Gwalior section of NH-3 in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Contract Package No. NS-21 (MP)

Description:

Worked as Project Engineer for construction of NH-3 road from Km. 85/0 to 92/0 on between Agra Gwalior. As a Project engineer, responsibilities includes leading a team, correspondences, preparing invoices, attending meetings with authorities, checking and finalizing designs and quantities. The descriptive details of Bridgework across river Sank at km.92/0 on NH-3 are

• RCC Four Lane Bridge of 12 spans of 40 m each. Well foundation of well dia of 11.5m and the depth of sinking to 22m. Prestressed Box Girders of length 40 m and depth of 2.5m

From concept to completion, worked on almost all the stages of bridgework.

Designed the Structural staging work for (Box Girder) of Sank Bridge, having 40m span. The roadwork comprises of

• The execution of earthwork of 1,50,000 m3, Granular Sub Base of 32000 m3, Wet mix macadam of 25000 m3, Retaining wall of 6m height for about 220m. Construction of RCC Drains along the both sides of road for about 9 Km. Pitching work of 25000 m2.

7. June 1999 to Nov 2001 Lea Assosiates South Asia Pvt. Ltd. Consultant Engineer

a) Project Name : MSRDC – Improvement to Nagpur - Aurangabad- Mumbai Road to NH Standard

Worked as the Structural Engineer for the Supervision work of this project as a Supervision Consultant team member. The work involves the construction of Major bridge across Selu river and Wardha river (RCC Box girder type)

b) Project Name : Consultancy Services for Quality Assurance & Technical Audit of Four laning of NH 8A&8B, Ahmedabad to Rajkot Section.

We had worked as a Quality assurance consultant of this project and assisted the client supervision team and established the quality assurance system. The bridges supervised are Banaiyo bridge, Betti Bridge, Hadario Bridge and Lalpari Bridge.

Also involved in quality control tests from borrow areas and for different layers of flexible pavements which includes subgrade, WBM, WMM, DBM and BC. Prepared the bituminous mix designs. Supervision for field tests being carried out, sampling and material testing, designing mixes for base courses, bituminous mixes and control of the hot mix plant.

From concept to completion, worked on almost all the stages of Highway Work.

c) Project Name : Four laning and strengthening of the existing two lane of NH-45B, Trichy to Madurai. (Design Project-NHAI)

• Worked for GPS (Global Positioning system) work with greater accuracy in Road alignment design. Involved with the survey work for horizontal and vertical control. Fixing coordinates (Northing & Easting) for Horizontal control points by Global Positioning System.

• Study of new alignment of five bypasses and involved in the installation of monument for control stations for GPS and for Horizontal control system. TDS (Tripoid Data System) raw data downloading, error distribution, plotting of alignments and analysis through SoftDesk.

8. May’98 to May’99 : B.E. Training Projects :

• Geographical Information System (GIS) for Grand Anicut Canal Simulation Model.

• Developed software entitled “Travellers Information System” using Visual Basic

• Developed software for the Project entitled “GIS and Reservoir Simulation Study on PAP (Parambiculam Aliyar Project) Irrigation system.
