Data Coordinator Lead, Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) 2005 – present

Generates and interprets study data using database reports to monitor Field Center (FC) compliance to study protocol. Answers questions, provides feedback and helps solve problems for FC Outcomes Coordinators (OCs) at 17 clinical centers. Conducts conference calls to FCs to monitor and discuss FC performance.

• Prepares materials and provides FC performance updates on a Performance Monitoring Committee call. Assists in developing study-related materials, procedures, and central trainings/meetings.

• Manages call logistics, minutes and their distribution for Performance Monitoring, Stroke, Cardiovascular/Fatal Events, and Fracture committee calls. Provides training and trouble-shooting on Regional and National conference calls.

• Works with other Outcomes staff to review and revise study-related materials and reports relevant to performance monitoring and outcomes operations. Updates assigned portions of the Study Manual.

• Conducts participant and Next-of-Kin interviews to collect clinical data. Provides QA review of medical records and medical charts for central adjudication.

• Prepares monthly study wide newsletter containing updates on procedures, reports, and other outcomes related items. Provides key entry and verification of Outcomes data, and requesting medical records.

Project Coordinator, Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) 1996 – 2005

Provided administrative and database support for the Clinical Outcomes Unit. Assisted in drafting and distributing correspondence and study materials. Prepared monthly central adjudication materials for Cardiovascular, Cancer, Fracture, and Death committees. Worked with physicians to collect medical data.

• Served as staff liaison between the Outcomes Coordinators and Physician Adjudicators at clinical sites.
