Senior Account Manager
SFi is one of the largest steel fabrication companies in the US. Focus of sales included agricultural, construction, transportation and military parts. Equipment available for the production of these parts included lasers, press braking, CNC machining, welding, blasting, powder coat and wet paint.
Responsibilities included customer care, order entry from assigned accounts using email, fax, phone and EDI, credit/debit reconciliation, inventory management and planning of plant orders to make finished goods for the various accounts assigned to me, logistics and shipping of customer products, preparing quotes submitted by customers to our estimating and engineering departments. Required knowledge of various engineering programs such as CAD, AUTOVUE, PRO E and SOLIDWORKS. Also required knowledge of various files used by customers to submit drawings such as TIFF, PDF, IGES and STEP files. Required ability to read and interpret prints, drawings and sketches as well as retrieve pertinent specification data listed on these prints. KAIZAN events, KANBAN, Lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, Quality Assurance training and SIX SIGMA.
Increased sales for one of my accounts, CNH LLC, from $0 to $20,000,000.00 estimated yearly revenue starting in 2012. This was over a 6 year period starting in 2005.
