Worked closely with leaders in all departments to coordinate “Just in Time” deliveries.
• Revised preventative maintenance program to tailor to equipment which reduced unexpected down time and resulted in 100% compliance with TS (automotive quality system).

Responsible for equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance and installation of new equipment for this automotive die casting and machining plant, headquartered in Japan. Managed Japanese advisor, 1 supervisor, 1 team leader and 14 hourly maintenance employees.
• Planned and installed a $3 million casting machine and all supporting equipment. Selected to go to Japan and observe run off new equipment.
• Installed 2 new machining lines for new models.
• Planned and rebuilt 2 casting machines while ensuring production needs were met.
• Developed a more proactive preventative maintenance program and spare parts inventory.
AMERICAN SHOWA (Blanchester, Ohio) 1998 - 2000

Responsible for equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance and over 200,000 sq. ft. facility. Supervised 1 assistant manager, 2 shift leaders and 12 maintenance employees.
• Worked with consulting firm and led conversion of existing CMMS system to Data Stream including palm tops (hand held computers) for techs.
• Led installation of 2 new air compressors, air dryer and piping.
• Led installation of generator for melting furnaces.
• Created modification of existing air lines to make a closed loop in order to decrease compressor demand.

Maintenance Superintendent
Responsible for all maintenance on production equipment and facility of a 400,000 sq. ft. building for start up organization. Managed 2 supervisors, 2 group leaders, 1 electrical engineer and 25 maintenance employees.
• Developed shutdown plans for (2) two week annual shutdowns reducing unexpected down time.
• Developed spare parts inventory for entire facility reducing down time.
