Accountable areas: Recruitment, hiring, training, and disciplinary actions, of a 20 person

staff. Scheduling. Payroll control. All sales, including insurance and philanthropic type

transactions. Receipts and deposits. Profit and loss. Merchandising. Accounts payable

and receivable. Sales training. Lab production and quality oversight. Inventory control

including, ordering, shrink, and return for credit product. Store supplies. Annual budget

control and reporting. Total store organization, presentation, and cleanliness.

Management of customer service, including complaints, kudos, and comments.

2002 – 2006 Lab manager for Lenscrafters units 1033 and 274, Exton and King of Prussia, Pa.

Responsibilities included: All functions of a full service optical lab. This required attention to:

The manufacture of custom eyewear in a timely basis with as little breakage and remakes as

possible. Quality control. Compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and Luxottica safety protocols.

Staffing. Lab supplies. Inventory. Training and development of talent. Maintenance and

repair of equipment. Documentation and reporting of lab production to associates, peers,

and supervisors. Lab cleanliness, organization, and presentation.

2000 – 2002 Assistant lab manager for Lenscrafters unit 450, Reading, Pa.

The assistant lab manager was required to: Drive production. Safety compliance. Quality

control. Equipment maintenance and repair. All lab responsibilities in the absence of the lab

manager.

Major work tasks were: The production of high quality eyewear inside the production goals

that were required by the lab manager. Equipment repair and maintenance. Cleanliness of
