• Manage and inspect capital improvement projects, subdivisions and other projects assuring compliance with approved plans and specifications for the City of Livingston.
• Responsibilities in maintaining accurate records on work progress, request for proposals, review submittals, RFIs, review invoices, request and prepare change orders, progress payments, engineering daily logs and project files.
• Participates in a wide variety of general paraprofessional engineering work related to survey, construction administration, design and project review, establishes and maintains liaison between utility companies, private firms and contractors.
• Review engineering plans and specifications for City administered public works projects and City’s right-of-way improvement projects.
• Perform quality and final quantities with contractor, create project punch-list and recommend project acceptance.
• Review, approve and issuance of encroachment permits; ensure compliance and conformance with City standards.
• Investigates citizen concerns and recommend appropriate course of action.
