EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

(2008-2009) DEMATIC Inc. - Field Service Tech III

I was part of a contracted Support Maintenance team, where I was responsible for team mechanical and electrical trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of a clients high volume Automated Warehousing Crane Systems. These systems integrated 12 Automated Warehousing Cranes with sophisticated “Pick-to-Light” and “Carousel” style Pick Mods as well as conveyor to Sorter networks.

I trained less experienced techs in specifics regarding Systems Integration, Programming, Troubleshooting and Maintenance. I was responsible for writing reports for client on systems up time and performance, tracking and ordering necessary parts inventory and usage, as well as monitoring and scheduling work orders and team man-hours.

I was instrumental in improving over-all system performance from an average of 92% to consistently above 99% uptime by reducing common systems faults and minimizing scheduled maintenance down time, thereby increasing product thru-put and total volume by over 5%.

(2006-2007) Automated Technologies Service - Sr. Maintenance Tech

I served as an on-call Shift Production Line Electro/Mechanical Technician, wherein I was responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of clients Production Line Systems and Machinery used in the manufacturing of Extruded Vinyl for the Vinyl Siding products market.

I was instrumental in performing complete 6-Sigma systems re-build and system up-grades to 6 older production lines, thereby increasing production by over 15% and reduced production waste and man hours by over 10%.

(2005-2006) WALGREENS Distribution Center - Sr. Maintenance Tech.

I performed on-call Shift Maintenance duties, wherein I was responsible for mechanical and electrical trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of high volume Material Handling Systems. These systems incorporated 10 automated warehousing cranes, 18 automated material transport vehicles, and over 22 miles of various types of belted and roller style Conveyors, Vertical Lifts and Product Sorters.

I performed troubleshooting/repair and maintenance of several styles of Forklifts and Order Pickers, as well as Boomlifts, Platform lifts, mobile Stretch-Wrappers, Floor Scrubbers, Trash Shredders and Waste Cardboard Balers.

(1992-2005) KIMBERLY-CLARK Inc. - Lead Maintenance Tech.

I served as an on-call Lead Shift Maintenance Technician, wherein I was responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of high volume Materials Handling Systems incorporating 8 AS/RS Cranes, 20 robotic AGV vehicles, over three miles of various types of belted and roller style automated conveyors, 4 automated Palletizers/Stretch Wrappers, as well as bar-code printer/scanner systems networked into Computer Tracking and Accounting Systems.

I used various types of powered and hand tools and well as Electrical Meters and gauges for performing many types of troubleshooting, diagnostic testing and calibration of equipment.

I was responsible for maintenance and repair of a fleet of 55+ electric forklifts, platform-lifts, boom-lifts, and related Battery Charging Systems and Battery Changing Systems.

I employed skills in Welding Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gear- boxes, Internal-combustion Engines, Robotic Mobile and Stationary Cranes, as well as technical skills in Allen Bradley and Omron style PLC troubleshooting/programming using RS Logix, Control Logix, Control-Net, PLC3, PLC5, Allen Bradley SLC 5000 PLC Controllers.
