CAREER SUMMARY:
Primary job was the care and maintenance of my assigned amphibious assault vehicle (AAV). My responsibilities included the care, maintenance and inventory of four multi-million dollar vehicles and their crew members. After various pormations I designed and developed training activities, taught classes on various tactics and weaponry and was responsible for the overall combat readiness of the Marines under me.

● Four years of military experience in corrective and preventive maintenance procedure of military armored vehicle, heavy equipment machinery and tracked vehicles.
● Knowledge of fluid capacities and mixtures, hydraulics, safety equipment

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2008-April 2012 Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Operator Camp Pendleton Oceanside Ca.
● Inspection of heavy equipment and tracked vehicle frames and bodies for holes, cracks, and other defects; safety appliances including hand holds, sill steps, grab iron, brake platforms, running boards; wheels to insure that rim treads, plates, hub axles, bearings are in good repair, suspension systems, operational checks of fire extinguishers.
● REBUILDING AND REPAIR: Maintain, replace and/or repair air brake pipes, valves, gaskets, air hoses and other equipment as required.
● EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Operate specialized off-highway motor vehicles including forklift trucks, mobile cranes, track mobiles, and ship tractors.
● Responsibilities included the care, maintenance of four multi-million dollar vehicles and their crew members.
● Conducted inventory of a parts expendable bin with a value of over $150,000
● Improved the operation and maintenance of four Amphibious Assault Vehicles with a value of over $1.2 million per vehicle
