Vice President, Corporate Services 2006 – 2009

Areas of responsibilities included data center environment (cooling, power) facility management, corporate travel, food service, receiving, vendor management, and physical security. Upgraded data center cooling providing increased capacity and realigned for hot/cold aisle configuration. Worked with data center management to upgrade electrical UPS and PDU capacity to ensure adequate power supply to the data center. Managed all facilities related activities for 280,000 sf campus. Managed construction projects including 15,000 sf tenant improvement and new construction at the main campus.

VP, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery/

Security Engineering 2002 – 2006

Led a group of ECP professionals and through our efforts we were able to reduce recovery time from 48 hours to 8 hours utilizing data mirroring technology. Worked with the business units to help them develop business continuity plans which would assist them in their recovery efforts should an incident occur. Coordinated the company’s effort to comply with the SEC ruling regarding email retention and represented the infrastructure group during all SOX audits ensuring availability of proper documentation.

Vice President, Telecommunications 2000 – 2002

Led a team of 9 technicians who supported all telecom activities including ACD and PBX support, circuit provisioning, and telecom desktop support. Managed telecom vendors including all major carriers.

Vice President, Services Automation 1994 – 2000

Proposed and had approved a new decentralized group of 9 – 17 developers whose efforts were focused on the customer service area. Applications and GUI front ends were developed using Powerbuilder and Sybase and included contact tracking and computer telephony integration (CTI) applications that improved accuracy and throughput in the contact center. Implemented and maintained a vendor supplied interactive voice response unit (IVR). Proposed, designed, developed and implemented Oppenheimer’s first website.
