I have been managing an Engineering Compliment for 5 years and have come to the conclusion that with proper motivation anything is possible.
Keeping your team motivated, with clear goals and a feasible plan to get to those goals is the key to any and all success. Implementing values like Empowerment to grow, Teamwork to reach common goals, Commitment to excellence, and honest responsibility, also contributes greatly to the highly effective work team I groomed and is currently managing.
On a more personal note I am married with two children, my family being the main motivation for my application to work overseas. The prospect of a better future, in regards to better living, schooling, and career opportunity for my children has intrigued us for quite some time.

WORK EXPERIENCE
I Started at Namakwa Sands as an Engineering operative in 1998, after completing my Matrix (Grade 12) in 1997 at Vanrhynsdorp High.
This is where I received my primary training in Boiler making and Fitting and Turning.
I worked in the Primary Concentrate Plants (PCP’S) and the Secondary Concentrate Plant (SCP).
My responsibilities varied from Pump; vibrating screen; and conveyor maintenance to pipe and chute developments and manufacturing.
In 2000 I was relocated to a New Test Department which soul responsible was the maintaining of the conveyor and crushing systems on the mining side.
This is where I did the remaining of my training before qualifying as a Mechanical fitter.
My responsibilities again varied from boiler making to fitting and turning.
Maintaining the: (Krupp) Tailings system, the Crushers in the mining system, and the PCP’s. This included Hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance, drive assembly and pulley maintenance, and conveyor maintenance.
After several years the West conveyor system I was promoted to the West conveyor System Foreman. My responsibilities includes; managing the maintenance, upgrades, projects and performance, on all the Western operation conveyors, Crushers, Hydraulic systems and feeders.
I was in the west mine for 2 year before I was relocated to the Eastern operations where I was promoted to acting General engineering Supervisor (Engineering Superintendent) at the start of 2011.
My responsibilities remained very much the same, except for the gaining of an additional Electrical and Instrumentation Department, and the occasional Managing of the Mining operations when required.
My current responsibilities includes, the improving and promoting of interdepartmental relations, the creating of accurate and feasible maintenance plans; maintenance scheduling and job planning; system upgrading and performance enhancement; project planning and implementation, with the resources at my disposal in the Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation departments.
But again the greatest responsibility is building my department to a highly effective work force, which is committed to continued improvement, zero tolerance, weighing ourselves only against the best, and prevailing every time we set our minds to it.
Thank you for taking the time to read trough my CV. I hope that I gave you an accurate indication of what and who I am in my personal and professional live.
Regards
Innes Roux
