December 1985 – February 2000 Material Disposition/Operations Manager

Worthington Steel - Delta, Ohio,

At the Delta facility we began an 85 Million Dollar Green Field Start-Up. I began after Start up as Quality Disposition,

Deciding the fate of all Material that flowed though this Flagship Operation that by it’s self processed 26 Million Dollars of

Automotive Steel monthly. The Galvanizing Line was a mile long with 100 DC drives. Received In-Depth Physics,

Electronics, Hydraulic and PLC Training. There I directed state-of-the art Slitters, Mills, and Pickle Lines as well. When start-

up began I was tasked with all quality and production. Worked to create the quality process and wrote the procedure for the QC

Department to follow. One month after start-up they promoted me to Plant Manager over-seeing a facility of 220 production

employees and 40 Sales and support executives. Since we were the first Worthington division to galvanize we establish an

entirely new sales, production infrastructure.

corporate wide production records and involved in 8 team records. In 1996 Worthington selected Me from its 12,000 employees

to start There First Galvanizing Plant.
