Contract Management and Review in support of Supply Chain Management in the Nuclear Power Plants Division. Reviewed all Limits of Authority (LOA) funds obligation memos, and safety and non-safety-related valve purchase orders and change orders in support of Westinghouse’s AP1000 nuclear power plant projects at Sanmen Units 1 and 2 in China and Southern Company’s Vogtle 3 and 4 projects in Georgia. Provided mentoring and coaching on commercial terms and conditions for the Supply Chain Management Valve Supply and Project Administration groups. Negotiated exceptions to Westinghouse’s standard terms and conditions as needed. Spearheaded, researched, performed due diligence, discovery, and audit, and drafted a major $315,000 claim for default against a major U.S. valves qualification vendor. Reviewed all valve vendor insurance certificates for compliance with Westinghouse’s and the client’s insurance requirements. I received Westinghouse in-house training on the Quality requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Power Plants, 10CFR830 Subpart A, Quality Assurance Requirements, DOE Order 414.1C preferred and ASME NQA-1 and ASME NQA-1, Parts I and III and other nuclear industry statutes and regulations.
