Summary

• Piping Designer with proven and extensive Detail Engineering, Design and Drafting, experience developed during 6+ years in the Engineering Procurement & Construction.

• Review project standards and documents to assure the piping scope of work, drawings and documents are compatible and aligned with overall project objectives.

• PDMS creation of project, user, database extraction, catalogue, component, connection table, spec, bolting, component weight, UDA (User Define Attribute) & back up data.

• Familiar in all the modules of PDMS. (ADMIN, PARAGON, SPECON, LEXICON, PROPCON, ISODRAFT, SPOOLER & DRAFT).

• Preparation piping general arrangement and isometric drawings including supports using own knowledge, based on individual project specifications and basic design concepts supplied by others.

• Development of detailed design deliverables including process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, general arrangements, equipment layouts, piping plans sections and details, line lists and tie-in lists.

• Participate in PDMS model reviews with clients. Advise on technical issues that arise and document changes as required.

• Performed 3D modeling using AutoCAD &Plant 3D software for design and develop products to meet specifications.

• Communicate with multi-discipline designers to insure design needs are addressed, and when necessary resolve issues in a mutually respectful manner.

• Familiar with ISOGEN for Auto Isometric DWG Production & resolve for any error.

• May function as lead discipline designer on project team.

• Support other discipline engineer with project planning, including estimates and control of designing man hours.

• Coordinate design and preparation of assembly fabrication drawings in accordance with the Project Schedule.

• Familiar with International Codes such as ASME/ANSI/ASTM/DIN/BS/API etc.

• Good knowledge of applicable design standards covering Piping

Design/Engineering and applicable accessories such as B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8

• Good knowledge of plant layout, piping instrumentation diagram (P&ID),

piping specification, layout, piping line list, pipe support, pipe NDT & NDE, etc.

• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable Company Quality Procedure and Work Procedures.
