Objective

Currently, I am looking for a sales and/or management position. These are the two positions that I have the most passion for. My attention to detail, and ability to get along with everyone, make these areas easy for me to work in. I may not have all of the college degrees to hang on my wall, but I do know how to fine tune a P/L statement that will make you smile.

Work Experience

Sales Consultant

2/2004 - Present Camping World Rv Sales, Hamburg, New York

 In this commission sales position, I sell recreational vehicles. This includes motor homes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. The rv industry is a unique industry to sell in, because the customer base is not buying something that they need. Selling in this in market is a great deal of fun, but the pay wasn't rewarding enough for the time invested. Currently I am now licensed to sell rvs in various states.

Commercial Driving Instructor / Manager

9/1996 - Present Genesee Valley BOCES, Leroy, New York

 This position started with just teaching driving lessons. I excelled very well and am currently the lead instructor at one of the campuses. This includes managing instructors under me, account management, public relations, program development, company consultation, and much more. During this position I became certified with NYS Education department for Adult Ed. That certification is still current.

President/CEO

5/2000 - 7/2003 KDF Inc., East Aurora, New York

 I started and ran this regional trucking company successfully. I did every thing including general management, driving, dispatching, all office work, and much more.

Truck Driver / Warehouse Manager

5/1999 - 6/2000 Advanced Distribution, Buffalo, New York

 With this company I was hired as a truck driver. As I excelled in this company my jobs details soon expanded into managing the warehouse. This included doing shipping, receiving, inventory control, load management, and much more.

Sales, Management, General Labor

6/1982 - 5/1999 Keicher Dairy Farm and Sales, East Aurora, New York

 I grew up in the family business of livestock sales and farming. We were in the top 5 dealerships in western NY. Our sales area started out being regional. After I was brought into that part of the business, I expanded it into a successful international trade. We then developed into a private consultant for several divisions of the government. Customer and public relations are critical in this industry.

 High School or equivalent

 Major- Agriculture

 Minor- Social Studies - Science and English

 I was allowed to teach agriculture when I was in 11th grade. This was a full classroom control experience including teaching lessons. All of my credits were accomplished a half year early in my final year. I did attend the ceremony with the rest of my class in July, even though I had graduated in January ahead of my class. I was always ahead of my class.

Certified with the State of New York for teaching adult education, and was named Erie County Cornell Cooperative Extensions " Citizen of the Year " in 1987.
