EXPERIENCE

E/M Technician - CSM. Santa Clara, CA - 2007 to 2009

Responsible for performing a wide variety of robotics electro-mechanical sub and final assembly of semiconductor equipments.Sub assembly includes building of process chamber, loadlock, top & bottom plates, gas distribution assy, pneumatic controller, doors, spindle,indexer, purge panel, analog pc board rack and many more.In sub assembly we do wire crimping & wrapping, light soldering, cutiing & routing polly lines & optical sensors, bearing, shaft, gears and o-ring installation.

Final assembly includes frame preparation such as installing sub assembly components, IOC power supply, local power box, gas box into the frame and route cable harness and connect to its specified destination.

Responsible for performing the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits,components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

Perform final inspection before doing final test. Check for missing parts, loose hardware, incorrect assembly, cosmetic and overall quality of the system.

Determine and develop test specifications, methods, procedures from blueprints and diagrams.

Facilities the system by connecting the cable from main line to local power box then to the system. Run water and air line from the main source.Powered up the system and check for the communication.Test and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. Tools being used are digital multimeter, dial indicator, digital caliper and helium leakchecker.

Perform the vacuum helium leak test for system process chambers and loadlocks.

Work with the system engineers improve the quality and engineering changes on the equipments.

E/M Assembler 111 - Novellus System. San Jose, CA - 1999 to 2008

Responsible for performing a wide variety of robotics electro-mechanical sub and final assembly of semiconductor PVD-CVD equipments. Sub assembly includes building of process chamber, loadlock, top & bottom plate, doors, arcplate, gas distribution assy, indexers, vacuum lines, purge panel, pneumatic controller, wafer platform, pump controller assy and manometer tree.Jobs include wire crimping & wrapping,light soldering, routing polly lines, cables & sensors and mechanical parts installation.

Final assembly includes frame prep by installing sub assembly components, IOC power supply, local power box, gas box, gas lines and route cable harness to its specified destination. Labels all the mechanical and electrical components.

Perform the system vacuum leakcheck in chamber and loadlock. Perform the final inspection by checking for missing parts, incorrect assembly, missing labels, loose hardwares, cosmetic problem, and overall quality of the system.

Inspect the system binder if complete and signed. Email manager and supervisor for system final status.

Train others in qualified areas of assembly.Authors MTT's/DMR's, researches documentation and part transaction by using SAP.

Support the final test technician for repairs due to mechanical and electrical failures.

Work with the manufacturing engineer to correct drawings and procedure if needed.

Demonstrate familiarity and rework the refurbished system for parts replacement and upgrading per customer specs.

E/M Assembler 11 - Asyst Technologies. Fremont,CA - 1997 to 1999

Perform a wide variety of robotic equipments from sub to final assembly. Jobs includes building of frame, podloaders, vertical & horizontal arm and cable harness.

Perform final inspection of the components by checking for loose & missing hardwares, incorrect assembly, missing labels and overall quality.
