Cracker Barrel Old Country Distribution Center, Lebanon, TN.

January 2007-Present: Loss Prevention Supervisor

• Supervise 1 Sr. Loss Prevention Investigator, 3 Loss Prevention Investigators, and an 88 hour/week security contract. Oversee daily Loss Prevention operations which involve CCTV, Life Safety systems, card access for Cracker Barrel’s 380,000 –sq. ft. distribution center.. Partner with operations to conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy at both the distribution center and 570 stores.

• Responsible for performing internal investigations as well as E-Commerce investigations when suspicious activity is identified.

• Promote safety awareness by initiating monthly safety meeting with all members of management.

• Partner with Human Resources and local law enforcement to handle any workplace violence situations that may arise.

• Conduct internal and E-Commerce investigations to protect company assets.

Gap Inc., Gallatin Campus, Gallatin, TN.

May 2002-January 2007: Global Supply Chain Loss Prevention Supervisor

• Responsible for managing investigations on the campus as well as for over 400 stores in the southeast region. Supervise 1 Assistant Supervisor, 3 LP Investigators, and 6 LP Agents. Responsible for managing and maintaining case files for investigation both internally and externally. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day LP operations which include physical security and audit programs for the Tennessee Distribution Center, which is approximately, 750,000-sq. ft.

• Partner with operations managers on a monthly basis to go over audit results which include accuracy, integrity and compliance.

• Effectively partner with Human Resource management members to handle workplace violence situations that arise.

• Responsible for building constructive and effective relationships with corporate business partners and peers at other Gap Distribution centers.

• Responsible for performing audits for 3PL companies to ensure merchandise is secure and deliveries are on time. Perform audits on inbound storage yards to ensure facilities are secure and can handle holding Gap Inc. freight prior to it being delivered to the DC.

• Performed shipment receiving training to over 50 stores in the southeast region. Training created an awareness to store employees and educated them on Freight Claims, Tampered and Damaged Cartons, BOL Compliance and Scan percentages, which help them better manage their inventory.

• Setup weekly conversations with direct reports, bi-weekly conversations with LP Investigators, and monthly conversations with LP Agents to help coach, train and create bench strength for the department.

Gap Inc., Gallatin Campus, Gallatin, TN.

June 1999- May 2002: Global Supply Chain Loss Prevention Assistant Supervisor

• Responsible for loss prevention, safety and security programs at the Southern Distribution Center (1.5 million sq. ft.).

• Responsible for scheduling shifts to assure all shifts were properly covered at all times.

• Performed performance reviews for Loss Prevention Agents.

• Implemented programs that directly impacted inventory shortage, such as, internal inventory audits, cycle counts, carton integrity and vendor compliance audits. Partnered with Inventory Management team to perform inventory counts (DCI).

• Partnered with operations and safety department and performed quarterly fire and tornado drills.

• Ensure the security and safety of over 500 Gap Inc. associates by ensuring that all LP Agents were certified as First Responders by maintaining their certifications in CPR, BloodBorne Pathogens, Basic First Aid and AED.

• Developed divisional policy that stated how to deal with overseas shipments that contain pests. Policy was created by partnering with Corporate and Distribution Leadership Teams.

• Direct supervision of the Loss Prevention Agents (12) and Contract Security Officers (10), approximately 400 hours a week.

• Required to monitor, review and enforce Loss Prevention, Security, Safety and Shrinkage policies and procedures. Collaborates in the development of new policies.
