Job Title: Assistant concept manager

Job Description:

• To manage the floor of Adult Apparels (Men’s & Ladies’) & accessories as a profit center with a commercial approach.

• To analyze the Space, Stocks and Sales for the concept, departments, categories, brands and group and lead the in meeting, sales target for the store.

Job Responsibility

Handling the Apparel concept of the store in terms of Business development, follow up with MCs team, Operational parameters and organization standards, annual/month target distribution and achievement, staff training and motivation, shrinkage control, as well as handling the store operations in terms of store opening and closing.

Operational Functions for the store:

• Opening and closing of store, handling cash flow, preparing sales profit reports..

• Responsible for all financial transactions and returns – Monitoring store returns, streamline store impress funds.

• Training, Hiring & development –Ensure staffing levels are adequate to effectively operate the store, and ensure employees receive training necessary for their job responsibilities.

• Client Relationship – Liaison with all In-house operational departments and take care of the basic Infrastructure needs.

• Inventory Management – Verify stocks & co-ordinate with the warehouse to validate daily stock movements & ensuring proper amount of inventory is displayed for the customer, by ensuring that selves and racks remain stocked and the product is frequently rotated out of the storage area.

• Inventory shrinkage & Audit – Perform perpetual, stock take and regular stealth validations in the cash registers. Ensure merchandising techniques and customer service skills minimize the possibility of product being stolen.

• Conducting inter concept meetings – Where various areas and metrics are reviewed and analyzed for improvements.

• Responsible for addressing and resolving customer grievances.

• MIS Reporting – Sales figures sent to the higher management, showing trend analysis on various parameters.

Sales Generation & Analysis:

• Adapt at mapping growth trends of store and comparing with competitors to evolve strategies for future escalation quantitatively.

• Set and monitor weekly & monthly sales targets; carry out periodical performance reviews.

• Perform sales analysis of quantitative data to understand reasons for achievement or non-achievement of sales targets.

• Prepare monthly performance reviews for analyzing the sales and market competition.

• Provide relevant feedback and commercial information to the Business Manager and other areas of the business, including provision of regular reports

• Operate an effective stock management system to maximize sales and profitability.

• Analyze sales per square feet and re-built the floor layouts and visual merchandising, impacting the increase in sales.

Customer Relations/Service:

• Ensures high-quality service to facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat clients.

• Train retail team and trainees on product and sales/after sales customer service to ensure the very best service from the floor

• Set, monitor and continually seek to improve customer service standards within the store.

• Provide a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers.

• Ensure staff has a full understanding of all store activities, company goals and priorities.

• Attend and contribute to management meetings, as required.

• Ensure there is a management/supervisory presence at all times in each division.

• Network with clients for corporate dealings and bulk orders.
