Work Experience:
* Engineer General Electric – Aviation, Bangalore, India, July 2008- September 2010
Projects undertaken at GE Aviation:
*Designed fuel-air mixing devices in the Six Sigma based approach. DACE based probabilistic design was used to obtain multiple designs meeting the targets specified and with minimal time, for the TAPS combustor of the GEnx Engine. The design was based on extensive and in depth CFD analysis.
Optimized the working of aerodynamically aided fuel purging mechanism of the combustor with Six Sigma rigor.
Designed Pilot and Main mixers along with one advanced TAPS-II mixer, Baffle to create pressure differential in the combustor.
