Part-time Front line Supervisor:

As a part-time supervisor it is my job to service the customers first hand by ensuring that the customer’s packages are given the respect and care that all customers deserve. Service is the most important part to servicing the customers.

All we do at UPS is service the customers and ensure that every package that a customer sends through the company is treated as if that package is the customer and that customer means everything to the company.

As for the business side of a supervisor I am responsible for the training of my employees in the job functions. I am in charge of the payroll, employee rerecords, and problem solving for issues within my team. I have to make sure to set goals that help the team rise higher. I am responsible for new hire training and follow-up by performing evaluations and skill inventory sheets for all new hires and seasoned employees. I have been part of the training management team during peak season for five years. This allows me to target weak areas and build to make them stronger.
