Sir/Madam,
My response to your available position is no doubt of great interest to me. Given the chance to work for this institution brings excitement and welcomed challenges. With my experience in the field of Architecture as well as other job experience close to the same paradigm I believe I can be an asset to your company.
My love for Architecture is constantly growing and will never falter throughout my lifetime. Ever since I was teenager in high school, while learning the basic woodwork and iron work disciplines, I knew from then that Architecture was field I wanted to live in. I also sincerely enjoy working with the public as well as fellow employees engaging in productive design theories which can improve the lives of humans everywhere. The happiness Architecture brings to my heart cannot be measured, only experienced.
My Leadership qualities which I have learned on in the field of Architecture along with the knowledge that I have gained throughout my educational studies, provides me the ability to be an effective employee within the company. Classes such as leadership by design, Philosophy, Sociology and being a member of the AIAS at the University of Arkansas has enabled me to meet with fellow Architects who share the same thoughts about what the future of Architecture holds. For three years I have advised incoming students at the University of Arkansas the importance of leadership and maintaining a balanced life no matter the career. I also communicate well with my fellow employees at my previous jobs and have maintained communication with the majority until now.
My design process goes through many different mediums and media, namely Autodesk software, such as Revit Architecture 2011, AutoCAD Architecture 2011, Adobe Creative Suite 5, Google Sketchup and many other software which I find helpful in portraying my design thought. My extensive experience in using Revit has been vital to my success in creating innovative projects that goes beyond the basic geometric grid into a more sensual design through the parametric features. My experience particularly using Revit and AutoCAD closely together will increase the productivity of your company greatly.
In conclusion, I would like to again express my enthusiasm for pursuing a career with your fine company. Being able to apply my educational experience towards a field of the same interest is very exciting to me. I am confident that I will be of great value to your corporation. Thank you for taking the time out to read my letter and the enclosed resume, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Charles Pemberton
