Collaborated with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards were in place. Devised and implemented new methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designed or specified inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conducted quality assurance tests, and performed statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet acceptable reliability standards and documentation that are compliant with requirements. Promoted from 22 other Quality Assurance Engineers to work on the Orion Program with only three other engineers as a certified Quality Assurance Engineer and was being trained to be the Quality Assurance Engineer Lead. Became a certified Product Assurance Material Review Board (PA-MRB) member. Also resolved non-conforming issues with hardware and work instructions to satisfy requirements.
