• Developed means to monitor bearing condition based on current through motor, not yet implemented in product.

• Developed a new power switch gear breaker with 50% higher interruption performance and 30% lower cost.

Supervised team of research engineers, providing direction on the planning and excecution of projects totaling $400M annually. Section’s responsibilities included development of capabilities for Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE), project management, mechanical engineering, and Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC).
