• Participate in all aspects of production processes,equipment and machinery.
• Responsible for setting up, adjustments,examining and operation of injection molding machine processes for maximum efficiency of lenses production
• Monitor injection molding machine operation and assist in troubleshooting and correcting issues involving production of lenses,
• Verify that machines are running within set parameters.
• Visually inspect production run and complete cGMP quality documentation to provide control of manufacturing activities.
• Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace,efficient production processes,minimizing of down time as well as a clean and orderly production area.
• Monitor daily running job for adherence to quality standards.
• Work closely with QA/QC to maintain and implement procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Generate daily production reports such as statistical process control charts, including accurate down time,quality of products produced,scrap produced and raw material usage.
EDUCATION&QUALIFICATIONS:
• Eight years cGMP, pharmaceutical manufacturing experience,processing medical devices.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to interact with automated manufacturing equipment via computer interface.
• Ability to perform math and data calculations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
