Was one of three project leads for Order Response System ORS (MLG), from a new idea for a replacement of an application called GLS. From developing speculations, designing, development, implications, upgrades, maintaining, trouble shoots client users problems produce system action issues, 24/7 support for over 7 differences clients on the same application with difference Business Rules being applied. Over 800 client users accessing their data, reports (Oracle Report 6i, Excel, *.DOC, HTML’s, Web Pages, *.FTP, *.PDF, *.TXT) and doing their updates via a Web Site which we also developed.

Became the sole owner of the ORS for 6 months before moving to new MLG SMSv2 Development.

This diagram summary of the ORS ( Order Response System)

*) From being inspiration to the end production product.

*) $5,000,000 for old GLS system (be replaced – MS SQL servicer, third party

application (GLS)) plus enhancements .

*) ORS project from start to production, less than14 months, 3 project leas, when

fully staffed at 60 or so people, at a cost less than $800,000.00.

*) Original design was for one client (HP) with two difference divisions (old legacy

and new HP SAP systems).

*) Within one year of being online, management sold the product to other clients (IBM

legacy, IBM new, Dow, Sear, Home Depot,Whirlpool, etc.), all with difference

*) This diagram was developed as a high overview for management of ORS in MS Visio,

MS Excel and migrated to MS Word with 100’s of foot notes in many attachments

(PL/SQL code, Package, Stored processors, DB triggers, DDL Specs.) Showing a step

by step, work flow of ORS, it modules interface with users.
