Work Experience:

Milton Manufacturing, Inc.[2008-present]- Current Position as Quality Manager. Metal Fabricators for Military Automotive, and Aviation. Prototype to Production of Stampings, Welded Assemblies and detailed Fabric accessories for Military/Government Programs, also fabricators of Steel and Aluminum parts for automotive OEM and Tier Manufacturers.

L&W Engineering [2003-2007] - Fabricators of Steel and Aluminum parts for automotive OEM and Tier Manufacturers. Lead Quality Engineer- to set-up all Quality APQP Documentation and initial Customer Relations. To prepare new Programs, PPAPs, documents and pursue customer approvals. Conducted sub-supplier visits and verified their PPAP for approvals. Reviewed blueprints and APQP requirements with customers/suppliers. Approved gauging design concepts and followed the designs from conception to Buy-off. Conducted PSO runs as well as updating current running programs when Engineering Changes are requested.

Center for Advance Technologies [1995-2003]-completed Manufacturing Engineer Graduate Program. Providers of Automotive/Military Components. Production and Prototype Development Facility of machined components. Pioneers of Advanced Training for Machinist and Computer Networking Technicians.

Quality - Conducted Quality and Engineering meetings for continuous improvements relating to customer concerns, AIAG Standards, TS16949 updates. Generated PPAP documentation, Blueprint Reading, 8D problem solving methodology, Internal auditing, GD&T clarification and strong skills in disciplined problem solving. Able to travel to ensure vendor compliance and customer satisfaction.

Machining- Experience with CNC Turning Centers (Lathes, Mills, Grinders) and Manual Shop Machines

Metal Forming- Stamping-Progressive Dies, Press Brakes, Laser, Turrets and Line Dies with small assembly

Manual and Automated Welding- Validating assembly of Small to Medium Stampings (Instrument Panels and Car Doors and Seats, internal and external vehicle brackets and subcomponent of larger assembles).

Metrology- CMM Programming and Operation, Surface Plate Layout inspection, Incoming and Final Inspections Audits, Gage Certification and Distribution. Inspect and approve Fixture Concepts and Designs, conducted GR&R's, Dimensional layout, and SPC studies. AWS D1.1&2 Certifications, FARO Arm inspection and maintenance of calibration system for measuring instruments.

Computer Literate- proficiency with Typical Office Equipment and Applications: Copier, printer, Fax, Email, Employee time (Payroll), Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Education: Lawrence Technological University Graduate: Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering
