Responsible for the activities of daily living for 8-10 residents per day, including:

o Providing ADL’S include bathing, feeding, dressing, combing hair, brushing teeth, getting in/out of bed, ambulating, and toileting. Taking vital signs. Communicating with patients with visual, hearing, and speech impairment and with dementia. Providing emotional support to patients dealing with illness and functional health problems.

Experience with mechanical lifts and manually moving residents; providing basic personal care for Alzheimer, dementia, comatose, and confused/violent patients; providing comfort care for hospice patients; reporting vitals and changes in resident’s health to charge nurse; and documenting patient care.

I graduated Options For Youth with honors.

I received a scholarship from Options For Youth in the amount of $300.00 upon graduation.
