Focal point leader and top advisor for company President and Vice President. Responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels through advance inventory forecasting and purchasing. Key account project management from Jockey International, Michael’s Stores, 7-Eleven and Canon. Multiple yearly trips to China, Korea and Cambodia used to strengthen customer, vendor and international employee relations. While overseas I perform production reviews, quality control inspections and review new sourcing development. Instrumental in all aspects of product development, from preplanning stage, prototype development, costing/pricing, vendor selection, to production. Create and maintain catalog production schedules, as well as hands on catalog development, ranging from production selection, photography, layout, proofing, printing and mailing. Website database management, including daily updating of stock, product additions, subtractions and pricing. Develop and complete e-mail marketing campaigns.

Key Achievements

Developed, implemented and maintained, with the assistance of a key Chinese vendor, a widely popular custom t-shirt program which results in $125K in additional annual revenue.

Sourced and implemented the transition to a 3rd party logistics provider in 2004, resulting in an annual savings of 1.5% of gross sales (1st year savings estimated at $130K), while also allowing the company to focus primarily on its core competencies resulting in additional savings.

Worked directly with head buyer at 7-Eleven, Kimberly Smith, to develop a custom bear used in conjunction with a 7-Eleven/ St. Jude Children’s Hospital donation effort resulting in over $500K in donations over the course of 5 years. As a result of the success of the program, Michael’s stores, based on the recommendation of Kimberly Smith, created a similar program in 2010 resulting in another $150K in donations for St. Jude’s.

Created and maintained a customer mailing list targeting our most promising prospects of sales for each catalog mailing. These efforts resulted in an annual savings of nearly $30K from reduced catalog printing as well as mailing costs, while still maintaining high levels of response rates and direct mail sales.

- Continually monitored and adjusted forecasting/purchasing of all overseas production with 90-120 day lead times.
