SUMMARY :
Experienced in hardware and software design and verification, primarily in space and military flight systems. Many were classified programs with previous Secret and Top Secret clearances. Familiar with most laboratory equipment for automated test. Design and test of RF & microwave systems, communication and radar systems, antenna/receiver, phase locked loops, spread spectrum systems, A/D and D/A converters, telemetry systems. Also telecom experience with T1/E1, TCP/IP, VoIP and DOCSIS communications. Automated test scripts background has developed into a more software focus with engineering applications and developing custom Linux kernels, compiling programs, and C++, java and Android applications with Eclipse IDE.

Performed linear and digital device characterization and software development for automated testing of high reliability semiconductors over extreme temperatures for military and space applications.
Lockheed FWC Fort Worth, TX 1991-1995
Development of Department of Defense Standard 2167A and 2168 compliant automatic Test Program Sets (TPS) for depot level repair of F-16 aircraft avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRU) and modules.
Norden Systems, Inc. Norwalk, CT 1986-1991
Responsible for design verification & certification of microwave subsystems required for A6-F aircraft radar antenna and receiver system development, environmental and final acceptance testing. Joint Strategic and Tactical Array Receiver System (J-STARS) test system support. Design utilizing phase detection, phase locked loops and multipliers, A/D and D/A converters, SAW devices, and high integrity signal switching and routing were typical requirements for testing the coherent radar subsystems.
Tracor Aerospace, Inc. Austin, TX 1984-1986
Participated in the introduction of automated test equipment (ATE) methods for a military production contract of an RF communications direction-finding system for Blackhawk helicopters.
Lockheed EMSCO, Inc. Houston, TX 1981-1984
Responsibilities in the Electronic Systems Test Lab for Space Shuttle flight unit verification afforded experience with the range of test equipment and standards for RF, telemetry and communication system performance assessment. Numerous proposals & flight unit development projects involved areas from digital control & signal encoding systems to recording & transmission of audio, video, & telemetry. Exposed to the range of requirements including spread-spectrum transmission and advanced coding techniques covering the breadth of Space Shuttle communication technologies.
