TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Ability to inspect engines, such as performing engine overhaul on both reciprocating and turbine engines.

Strong proficiency in repairing, replacing, assembling and disassembling airframe parts.

Familiar with engine testing operations, using equipment specified in the manual.

Effectively consulting manufacturers’ manuals for specifications and to determine feasibility of repair and replacement.

Deep knowledge in proper usage of tools, such as micrometers, rivet guns, power drills, dial indicators, grinders, torque wrenches, timing lights and other items.

Strong ability to conduct troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities.

Be able to adapt new knowledge quickly and take initiative at work.

Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Broad knowledge of engine hardware, line maintenance, and flight line operations/procedures
