Worked through the Office of Community Service Learning as an after school tutor for students ranging from elementary to high school age in subjects including math, science, language arts, history, and test preparation.

Assisted the English Department by researching, collecting, and archiving documents and other educational materials for classroom use. Additionally worked to write and distribute materials for classroom discussions and departmental lectures.
Cashier
Longs Drugs/CVS, Moreno Valley, CA 3/2007 – 11/2008
Began at Longs in the warehouse stocking items within the store, unloading weekly shipments, and maintaining cleanliness within the store itself. Moved to primary cashier position for the store’s evening shift until closing; worked this position primarily during weeknights and weekends while studying at RCC. Main duties were dealing with customer transactions and returns, customer service questions, restocking items, and interfacing with customers nightly.

Activities
FIE - Fidelity-Isonomy-Erudition
Chair of Finances and Board Member for FIE, an on-campus, coeducational student organization at the University of Redlands. The organization, established in 2006, is devoted to promoting cultural awareness around the campus, and actively promoting community service throughout the Redlands community. As Chair of Finances, my responsibilities include managing and recording all transactions made with the organization’s budget, distributing reimbursements, collecting club dues and payments, and implementing organizational fundraisers within the Redlands community.
MEChA, Redlands Chapter
As MEChA secretary, my responsibilities included recording all activities during meetings, distributing minutes after meetings to all MEChA members, filing minutes and organizational documents, recording attendance, and keeping all members updated on current organizational activities through regular correspondence.
