• Product Experience with Semiconductor MEMS Sensor, RF/Microwave Amplifier, Fiber-Optical Component & Module, Tunable Laser, Transceiver, and Computers (also include-Mother boards, Battery, Fans, IC/ASIC, and Cable/Connector/Adapter.)

• Hand-On Manufacturing Processes: Semiconductor Processes, CNC Machining, CAD/CAM/CMM, Plastic Injection Molding, Metal Stamping, Tooling Manufacturing, PCB/PCBA, LCD/LCM, ICs, Sensors, SMT, Die Bonding, Box/Module Build, and Testing.

• Responsible for Safety, Production, Materials, Procurement, Demand/Planning, Quality, Resources, Budget, Delivery-On-Time, Cost Estimation/Cost Control, Inventory Management, Change Management, Objectives and Continues Improvement Initiatives. Ensure Lean Manufacturing System in all functional areas, and sustainable.

• Strong technical background: MS in Manufacturing Engineering & BS in Mechanical Engineering.

• Implement and maintain operations standards, quality system (ISO & TS) and Lean Manufacturing/Value Stream/TPS.

• Provide technical and operational recommendations to support productivity, materials, quality, labor and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing and Product Development to optimize sources for NPI (New Product Introduction) and existing product lines.

• Coach, develop and mentor a core team, which includes QA/QC/RMA, Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Document Control, NPI and Lean Manufacturing, to achieve business goal and cost reduction.

• Lead Kaizen events, monitor progress status and share the final result.

• Focus at DFX & ECOs, monitor cancellations & expedites, and prevent excessive & obsolete materials.

• Monitor operations performance achievements: Safety, Strategic Vendor Relationship, Cost Reduction, Reduced Cycle Time, Lower Inventory and Reduced Lead Time.

• Lead cross-functional improvement with internal and external teams.

• Performance review, employee relationship activities, and correct actions.

• Experience with MRP/ERP, ECR/ECO, SPC, PPAP, APQP and RMA/FMEA.

• Fully capable to read, speak and write in Mandarin/Chinese.
