Paralegal/Contracts Administrator

2005-2009 CORPORATE CONVERSIONS

Assistant Controller 2007-2009 (full time)

Receive Buyout report from Project Manager prior to commencement of job. Approve budget in advance. Create binding contracts between vendor and CCI with respect to scope of work, starting and finishing dates, payment terms and delay fines. Ensure that all W-9 and Insurance certificates are on file and up to date. Process payables as invoices are received citing the subcontract/PO number originally assigned. Schedule vendor payments in congruency with the payment from the customer and submit to DFA. Process credit card charges as well as any other miscellaneous charges that pertain to the job. Process change orders between the PM/Vendor/Customer. Process lien waivers, both partial and final as job nears close. Perform job audits for profitability within 30 days of the close of the job, submitting final results to DFA and President. Work with Mall vendors to retrieve refunds on any deposits that are due. Work with president to review any requests for funds or contractor invoices not listed or approved in original budget. Weekly calls with PM’s to insure that jobs are planning to finish on schedule and that no additional expenses are expected prior to closeout. Monitor General Conditions to insure that there are no overages.
